Group Feedback

Some of the feedback that I received during group critique and personal considerations:

Try to put the words in italian in a frame, to portray a balance between the image in the background and the clear and linear frame around the words.

To try:

-a list of words in english beneath the list in italian

-try playng with the video and the audience, by randomly hiding and revealing body parts

-think about how to take the piece further and try with repeat the words in the sound in a more random way.

To try:

- use the mobile phone to record voice

- no text on the side

- replace text on the side with animated text

- change background color

Instead of using random objects on the bed behind me, I should carefully choose objects that are more relevant to me. This is to support the self portrait.

The mobile phone is positioned infront of my face.

This is to maintain a sense of ambiguity, “this is a self portrait, but the viewer can’t really see my face”, but also support the fact that I see myself (at this moment) as a digital practitioner using everyday digital tools to produce digital material.
